trending now........ kimono look

FYI:
I wrote this post before my accident.
I updated the shopping information!!

Hey look at me!
I just bought this loose, flowing silhouette kimono at Target.  A kimono by definition is a loose robe with wide sleeves and side seams (usually).  This wonderful light weight and breezy piece does not have side seams.  A fun little tie under the arm gives it a kimono feel.

The soft rayon georgette floral/geometric print sways in the wind on this blustery day.

I like to just wrap up in it

The striking print is done in eye catching shades of pink, purple and navy.

I am wearing my
 BRIGITTE ANKLE PANTS from Chico's.
Can't say enough good about the way they fit.  They sit just below the natural waistline and the rayon, nylon and spandex blend provide a comfortable stretch and smooth silhouette.

They come in a variety of prints and colors.

I purchased this trend-forward kimono a while ago, but I cannot find it on the Target website.  Nor can I find it under the Xhilaration label.

I think it was made by little elves living high in the peaks of Mt Charleston and dropped inconspicuously  into my shopping cart as I perused the aisles, looking for just the right granola bars!

But I found these other Xhilaration kimonos from Target.

History of Kimonos.
Originally, "kimono" was the Japanese word for clothing. But in more recent years, the word has been used to refer specifically to traditional Japanese clothing. web-japan.org/kidsweb/virtual/kimono

Here is my Japanese quote:
The best time to plant a tree was 20 years ago. The second best time is now.
  • 木を植えるのに一番良かった時期は20年前だった。 二番目に良い時期は今だ。
  • Ki o ueru no ni ichi-ban yokatta jiki wa ni-jū-nen mae datta. Ni-ban-me ni ii jiki wa ima da.
